help my website is slow to nonfunctioning!

okay, everyone, this is probably a totally stupid question, but what could cause my website load time to be so slow. i reset everything to see if that had any effect, but it is still running slow. how can i test to see what might be the problem? thanks couponer411

Down for maintenance at the moment - but the obvious first question is who do you host with ?
    regards, Dave
ps What do you mean when you say you reset everything ?

If you haven’t made any recent changes, then as Dave suggests, the problem is likely your hosting provider. If you have a way to check the system status with them, take a look and see if they have reported anything. They may or may not have – if they haven’t that still doesn’t mean they aren’t having problems. But if they do report a problem then you know for sure.

meaning i reset the dynamik options. i host with a site called mydomainnametoday. could it be a problem on their end? how would I find out? i thought it was a virus on my computer at first until my hubby said he tried to go on my site from his laptop and had the same problem. never even came up on his. i really am green when it comes to all this stuff. i didn't even backup my site ( i know, super dumb), but really this is my new hobby, so i don't mind starting from scratch. just wanted to know if i inadvertently did something to screw up my site. my hubby said something about an endless loop. what the heck is that?

Thanks for the feedback - I didn't notice anything too slow - the site is not graphic intensive - so should load fine!
I would get a friend or two to try accessing it (preferably not using the same ISP as you!)
What sort of internet connection do you have ?
BTW: Useless Loop is a town in the north of Western Australia But I don't think your site is suffering from a endless loop!
