Sorting and searching for comtent

I'm trying to replicate the funtionality of this page:

Does anyone know of (1) a good tabbed content plugin and (2) is there a simple system for doing the filter sorts so people can see data or posts that is filtered??

http://wordpress.stackexchange.com/q...-custom-fields He has all relations in place but need adv. search. Now you mention tabbed content plugin I think you might underestimate whole setup? Need to have all elements nailed that is for sure.

Closest I have seen for this is Taxonomy Picker http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/taxonomy-picker/ works with categories, tags and own taxonomies. Might be useful depending on how you replicate.

Still early days for Views&Types http://wp-types.com/ which cost money for beta version, 50$ no less, but some day....
