    Embedding Flash Code in a Wordpress Post

    Hi all,

    Apologies for the newbie question, but I have 0 experience when it comes to Flash applications/codes.

    Here is the piece of code:

    <object classid="clsid27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=5,0,0,0" width="480" height="288">
    <param name=movie value="tuner24.swf">
    <param name=quality value=high>
    <embed src="tuner24.swf" quality=high pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/download/index.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="480" height="288">
    </embed> </object>

    Okay, this piece of code is embedded on this URL and it works perfectly fine:

    http://guitaringenuity.com/tools

    However, I would actually prefer to have it on a deeper page, and therefore I copied it into this post/URL:

    http://guitaringenuity.com/tools/guitar-tuner-online

    ...but for some reason that I can't figure out it just doesn't work on the second page.

    I'm sure it's something trivial - any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

    I can’t say for sure what’s happening but when I view source on the two pages the code is quite different on each. You might want to double check the code you are using, and also make sure you use the HTML tab on the Edit page when pasting it in.

    @justme: thanks a lot for your answer.

    I tried a number of different things, and at this point I can conclusively say that the whole problem is the level of the page the code is on. Without a parent page assignment, the code works perfectly fine, however, as soon as I add a parent page in between, it's not working anymore.

    It's not the end of the world, but if anybody has an answer to this, I would still appreciate it.

    Thanks
