Anyone interested in learning Catalyst together via phone/web?

I'm new to this sport and would me interested a study partner or two.

I started working with Frugal a few weeks ago and am now moving on to Catalyst. Already hitting the wall on a number of issues.

Anyone interested in working on the basics via phone or live web?

Hey Pgoc - I'm also started with Frugal a few weeks ago and have just moved to Catalyst - my site is still in development so I figured it would be best to just learn Catalyst.

I'm not at my PC enough to do live web or phone with you - but would love to hear how things are going and if you get stuck on something let me know - I may have had to sort it out too.

My current challenge is trying to add a slidedeck/slideshow - but that is more of a WP issue than Catalyst - I just wish I could understand what they are telling me to do - I added in Slidedeck to one of my test pages but nothing is moving...

sharong: I used two plugins and got a really nice slide show, they both worked well with catalyst and are both easy to use, I used the NexGen Gallery and NexGen Smooth Gallery the pictures show up large, and very clear my client it an artist and loved the new way I presented her work. You might want to check them out they are both free. Hugs Tenderspirit

Hey Patrick! I remember you from the frugal forum and the nice phone call we had back in November-ish time frame.

I'm doing a learn-by-doing crash course in Catalyst myself as I'm designing a few new sites with it. I'd be happy to work with you and help any way I can.
