I've got my site setup (www.ohiomortgagesolutions.com) as follows:

Home Page - static ez_home_1_2_2.php with the 6 most recent post excerpts being shown via Excerpt Widget
Navbar - displays my categories

So there are really not static pages. Started thinking about it today, and wondering if it wouldn't be a better setup to have a static page for each category with a static post at the top of each page describing the category and a static post at the top of the home page with an about me/site.

That way when search engines index my site, instead of it seeing the home page with constantly changing info it would see static info, and same with the categories.

So my question is, in your opinion what is the optimum setup for SEO purposes?
