wordpress not updating when saved . . .

Hi

Wondered if anyone could help me with this one, as I have no idea!!!

I've did a wordpress website quite a while ago for a friend who did very little with it but is now wanting to update it. She is making changes to a published wordpress page, clicking on update and the little circle goes round, but the changes aren't saving.

Now I've gone it and tried using the same login as my friend and can quite happily make changes and save them.

Has anyone ever come across this and got any idea as to what it is?

I have had cases where the login session seemed to still be active, but I'd make changes and nothing would happen. I could navgate to various pages, change, things, it wold save, buit no effect. The answer was to log out and then log back in. Don't know if this might be the same, but I thought it worth mentioning.

thanks for this but doesn't seemed to have made a difference. Its just bizzarre!
